Does anyone know if I will have a problem running High Sierra on my home studio Mid 2010 Mac Pro
Currently running Sierra, I have the boot drive on a Samsung SM 951 500 GB AHCI PCIe SSD in my number 3 PCIe slot
But I write the audio files to one of my other 2 HDD drives and the video files to the other HDD
So I assume the SSD will be upgraded to the new APFS file system BUT the question is can the HDD remain in the old file format ?
I am asking because of MacSales article suggesting not changing an HDD to APFS ? Thanks... Kev

Agree with Casperes1996 HDD will run fine - no change

I have my itunes library and all media, music etc on en external drive and use it on 3 different MBP's no issues - 2 are Sierra and one is High Sierra - all MBP's running itunes 12.6.3.6
