Howdy all,
I recently signed up for a design class and in the lab are shiny new G5s.. the problem is for page-layout they only have Quark Xpress installed. I despise Quark and was wondering if there was a way to install InDesign on my external firewire drive. I tried just a normal install but upon trying to run the program it gives me an error saying certain files are missing or something of that nature (I will get the details if no one has a solution for this)... I know theres a way to stick a HOME directory on a drive so why not a simple application that I can run depending on the machine I'm on. I bought the software and would techincally have only ONE installed copy on my portable drive. so legally this seems like it shouldn't be an issue..

any help would be greatly appreciated!
