I am running a Japanese dictionary iPad app on my M1 Mac Mini. Overall, the fonts are too small. Can I change them? I see there is a “Show Fonts” dialog box. Do I have to figure out which font to change and set the size? I’m not sure if that’s the purpose of that dialog to change the display fonts on the screen. Is there some place else to go to change the size? The iPad app itself didn’t have a font size option built in.

Also when using the app on an iPad, I could long touch press and adjust what text to copy. It doesn’t seem like I can do that with the mouse pointer. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need a trackpad to emulate the touchscreen presses? Thanks.

I think the issue is that most iOS apps are not using the resources for larger resolution iPads when running on the Mac. Is there any way around this? If I sideload the ipa from my iPad (assuming you can still do this), will the high res resources be used on the Mac? Will it be different from the iOS app downloaded directly on the Mac from the App Store (under iOS apps)?
