Running Itunes of External Hard Drive, will Apple TV work

I want to move my itunes library off to an external hard drive, because my Macbook pro hard drive is full, and I wanted to know if Apple TV would still stream my library if its running through an external hard drive, I have the new Apple TV, where it streams from my computer.

As long as iTunes is open on your computer with your library loaded via the external drive, it'll work perfectly fine.
