Running Miro for Youtube

I am using an iMac g3. I am trying to get YouTube to run on it, but the quality is dirt poor. I heard I could use Miro, but when I install it it will not launch. The icon appears on the dock, bounces for 30 seconds, and dissappears. Help! Specs: iMac g3 350 mHz, 512 megs ram, 10.3.9.
