Running multiple projectors from my MacBook Pro

Hello,
I have a chance to purchase a second projector. What will be necessary for me to run the same video from my VJ software on both projectors? Would it be as simple as running a VGA cable from the "monitor out" socket on my projector? Or how about a DVI splitter cable?
