I'm starting to get annoyed with my iMac being the only portal for viewing my calendar (got Mac and PC), so I've been looking into ways of sharing the data between the computers (and possibly the net).
It's all in iCal ATM, and I've tried simply copy-and-pasting the .ics files into Outlook on the PC but obviously MS looked at the files and said "what is this 'open standard' you speak of?" and promptly spat them out. I've just downloaded Sunbird and it looks to work fine, but it needs a server to share (and I'm not shelling out on .Mac).
Surely for this purpose, the iMac's built-in web server capabilities (Panther) could suffice as a server for the LAN? Can't I set up Apache to share them somehow? Any howto's possibly?
