Running old OS

Hey guys. I was wondering if there was anyway to run the early Mac OS's (1980's) on my current Macbook Pro (early 2008). Just kinda curious to see what the old ones were like. Thanks

Sorry those old OS's won't run on intel chips.

If it is the 1980s that you want, then you need a 680x0-based Mac emulator like Mini vMac or Basilisk II. The popular Sheepshaver is a PPC-based Mac emulator.

Yeah, there's another called Apple II or something like that (not free though). It seemed to work pretty well though. I had no use for it, so I didn't spend that much time in it.

The OP asked about running veteran Mac software, not about running Appe ][ software.
