Running on reserve power

How often do you run on reserve power? I do it everyday and am running on it right now =D

My MBP is plugged in about 70% of the time, and once the warning pops up i plug it in.

I see no point, it will use it, and then die in like five minutes. I'll just click in the power cord, and forget about it.
