I am having trouble opening PowerPC applications on my lion, and I found out it is because Lion "killed" it. What can I do to fix this without downgrading back to snow leopard? Is there a way I can have both running at once?
Three options:
1) Have a partition/HDD with Leopard or Snow Leopard.
2) Have server version of Leopard or Snow Leopard, and run a virtual machine via Parallels, Fusion or VirtualBox (free)
3) Recently there was an updated version of VMware fusion that allowed a virtual machine with the non-server version of Leopard or Snow Leopard. But I believe it will be patched or not further possible to use it.

I know your question has already been answered, but just a suggestion...you might want to see if your software can be upgraded or try to find alternatives for your PowerPC apps. They're already pretty outdated, and unless you want to keep SL around forever, at some point you're going to have to upgrade. Not saying you have to do it now, but it would be a good time to start checking into it, at least.
