iPod running two ipods of the one itunes

I know that this is probably basic, but how do you run two ipods from the same computer, using the same itunes?

Me and the missus both have our iPods running out of the one iTunes library. The way we do it is to each have our own playlists set up (smart or otherwise) and you can then tell each iPod to only sync with your selected playlists – you can choose the ones you want for each ipod through Preferences/iPod.

That way, I only get my top quality tunes on my iPod and I don't get to to listen to any of my girlfriend's 'music'.
