iPad Running two non stock apps

the only downside I see (so far) is the inability to run two NON stock apps. I'd love to run both a fantasy football app and safari with each at 50% of the screen. Not the side area that then goes away again. Is the inability to do this intentional? If so, that is a bit sad.

If the FF app is split screen ready you can. It's up to the app to support it.

For example I can run Word and Excel at the same time 50/50.

If the apps support it then it will work. I can easily do split screen with word and excel for example.
