Hi

This is probably a dumb question but here goes...

I know that the forthcoming Arm Macs won't run Windows natively (via something like Bootcamp). What I want to know is whether this means accessing a Windows network will be out of the question?

Now that I am working from home for the long-term and possibly forever, I access my work's network via VMWare Horizon. I'm not running Windows on my machine, just accessing the network which I guess is different to running something like Bootcamp.

Will this still be possible on an Arm Mac? If not, this means I'll have to give it a miss.

Simple answer is yes, you will be able to access from ARM Mac virtual services like Horizon.
Long answer is, that early on the level of support from different suppliers will vary. It kind of depends on what the system requires locally. Some of these systems require "player" applications and then it depends if that application is availabel for given platform. Some work through browsers and then they work relatively anywhere. So there is not guarantee there will be native solution on day 1. But there will be Rosetta 2, which will let your current software run anyway, so you are fine.
