Hey there. I have the following problem (and couldn't find any related post).

I have OS X 10.9.5 and Windows 7 (bootcamp) installed on my macbook pro.

I have couple of win games in OS X thanks to Wineskin.

The thing is:

When I'm trying to run those games in Windows7 (so I browse my mac hdd and find the exe file that needs to be run), I get no sound at all. But once I copy those games from my mac hdd to my win hdd (let's say to the "Desktop" folder), I have no issues with the sound and everything works fine.

Any ideas why it's like that? :) (HFS related?)

Cheers!

Not sure why. I have had problems with some games not running at all if they were located on OS X partition, so I had to copy them to boot camp's. But that's because Windows doesn't have write permissions on OSX partition. Maybe this is a similar issue?

I was wondering about it as well. But why just the sound is the issue and not textures or the whole game itself? :)
