I was wondering if it is possible to install either XP or Vista onto a external hard drive and then use it to boot into Windows on my MacBook? I really do not wish to partition my MacBook's hard drive because of its small size and I really need all of the space for when I am editing digital video, as that takes up a lot of space. Also, I have Windows XP SP2 on a single install CD and Windows Vista on a 5 CD install, not the DVD version. I got these from MSDN. Anyways, can I use the 5 CD install, or does it all have to be on one disc?

Any help/suggestions are very welcome.

BTW: I need Windows so I can do work at home. I am an intern at a software company, and the program we are making is written in C# and therefore is Windows only. That is the only use of this Windows install, nothing else at all. (Im trying to stay as Windows free as possible)
