Simple problem - after a pain in the ass getting Windows installed on my Mac and then set up I have discovered today that my 2.1 speaker system does not work. My speakers connect to the Mac via a mini plug at the back. The problem is not that I don't get sound because I do - it just happens to be coming from the internal speakers in the Mac tower which as we all know are ****. I have tried to set up my audio but Windows does not seem to know they are there or something. Maybe its just a matter of me not know enough about how Windows works but any suggestions would be helpful. Also, as a side note, my numeric key pad is not working either. The rest of the keyboard is fine including the CD/DVD eject button but not the numeric key pad which is quite important to me.
