Heres the problem, recently i have purchased Modern Warfare 3 for my Xbox 360, now i have noticed that match making online seems to be a little bit more difficult then usual online games or even previous Call of Duty's. You used to be able to change the NAT setting right there on your Xbox.

When i first went tried to play online it told me to go to www.infinityward.com/NAT to open up my router settings, now i've done that and that works fine when i play with my xbox connected to my router directly, but when my xbox is in my room it runs the xbox live connection wirelessly through my iMac (ethernet cable connected from iMac to xbox) by bridging the connection, this changes the NAT settings back to strict tho when i go to play, rather then open.

Any tips or clues on why this happens and if its possible to change ?

Cheers.

If you're going through your iMac in addition to another router, you have double-NAT, so you can't open up external ports to allow them in.
