Rustoleum's NeverWet spray "waterproofs" iphone

I saw this stuff awhile ago, and it looks like its going on sale in Home Depot soon. Looks like impressive stuff. I just watched the video in the link and at 3:30 they spray an iphone 4/4S and submerge it. Thoughts? Sounds like a good idea for people who are drop or spill prone.

You can't. It frosts glass but supposedly they are working on a version that dries clear.

They also recommend to never use this on electronics. Despite the video linked above showing them using it on a iPhone.

If you read the product PDF it says to not use on glass that needs to be transparent. It leaves a frosty white color on everything it's sprayed on.

they only sprayed it on the inside of the phone, then used a q-tip to apply it to the speaker/mic grilles. didnt you watch?

This would seem cool for white iPhone. Put plastic screen protection on it and cover cameras and sensors and coat that thing. Afterwards take off screen protection and put tempered glass and slip stopper and you got a beast!!! IMHO
