I plan on gifting my AT&T 64gb iPhone 4s to my son who uses straight talk. I have new straight talk micro sim and a new T-mobile inactivated micro sim. Upgrade iOS to 6.0? Or not? Anything other than sim swap I should be aware of? He really isn't tech savvy so I need everything to just work or it will come back and haunt me.

get phone unlocked, put sim card in, end of story.
