The sound on my S10 is going from okay to barely audible. After chatting with Apple , I selected the replacement option. I have to pay about $74, but I get a new S10 as a result. I need to check to see if my AppleCare+ transfers over, but they said that they believe that it did.

If you have AC+ you shouldn't have to pay anything, or did they determine it was accidental damage? Sounds weird to me tbh.

And yes, AC+ will transfer but I would challenge them in replacement cost

You are correct. The Apple person assumed that I broke it, which I didn’t. I could only cancel to get my money back, but I have to reject the replacement watch as they can’t cancel the shipment for some reason. FedEx doesn’t even have it yet, but Apple can’t cancel. I re-paired my watch. Sound is okay. I’m keeping it and rejecting the new watch.

I suppose it got moved into shipping/receiving and they don't have a way to retrieve it, sounds silly...
Yes, reject the package when it gets delivered or attempted to.

If your sound is ok again after re-pairing, that's odd. Do you use the speaker for playing music or something
Does your watch get wet on a regular basis?

I have had my Series 10 and Ultra 2 both have low audible speaker issues which turned out to be they were just in need of cleaning to fix them. I just turned on the water lock feature and ran the speaker under warm water for a minute and then dried them with a towel and gently tapping the speaker side on the towel laying on the counter to dislodge any debris from the speaker area. It may take a couple times of doing this. At first I looked into AppleCare+ as well, but that turned out to be a waste of time as nothing was truly wrong with either watch.
