I bought the S10 mainly to be able to see the seconds on the Timer app when my wrist is down. The strange thing is that sometimes it shows the seconds and sometimes it just shows "--" or just minutes.
I haven't found a rule for when it shows the seconds and when it doesn't. But why? Is there some kind of strange synchronisation between the 1Hz display and the timer? Even if there is, it would be perfectly fine if a tenth of a second was skipped every now and then. What is going on here? Is there a setting I have overlooked? Could a software update fix this?

I'm pretty sure that it's just three specific watch faces that show seconds with the watch down on S10 - it wasn't extended to apps. That said, the timer even on even my Ultra shows seconds on watch down during the final minute, as I am sure it does for any watch with AOD. (Also a workout will show seconds on watch down - again, even on my Ultra, even on my old Series 5.)
