S2 watch failed to sync after iPhone upgraded to iOS 13.4

I updated my iPhone X this morning to iOS 13.4, afterwards the watch app said the watch was syncing.

There was no progress after 30 minutes so I cancelled the syncing which un-paired the watch, Aargh!

After restarts of the watch and phone I finally managed to get the watch to initialise and load the backup, restore Apple Pay and reload all the apps.

Then it refused to update to watchOS 6.2, it failed after the Verification stage, I‘m hoping it will update overnight.

I left mine set to auto update and that did work, though I’m still finding bits and pieces I changed that were not restored. The ‘Breath‘ app came back to life and I can’t remember how I stopped it, never mind, it’s a minor annoyance.
