S2 watchOS6 crown won’t scroll

Having problems with my S2. The Digital Crown wont’t scroll which I noticed a couple of days after installing OS6 beta.

Rather than write a big long story, here is the story so far....

•Installed OS6.0
•Couple of days later noticed the crown would not control music volume or zoom icons on home screen.
•Washed watch but water lock function would not work as crown won’t register I’m turning it.
•Only way to clear the “turn crown to clear water” screen was to reset watch.
•Setup as new watch
•Crown still won’t scroll or register I’m turning it.
•Installed OS6.1
•Still won’t register I’m turning it.
The crown works fine as a button but not when turning. It does move freely so not blocked as far as I can tell

Anyone able to suggest a fix?

New watch. Unless someone can suggest a fix, the costs to repair might not be with doing.

I installed watchOS 6 on my sons Series 2 and it didn’t affect crown behavior at all. I think this is a hardware issue unrelated to the beta

Thanks for the replies. Must just be a coincidence then. Was time for a new watch though tbh 😂
