S5 Titanium - BNIB replace my S3. Alway On is not enabled on S5.
No Cellular on Both. Just Bt.

I just use my S3 42mm again. Maybe it's me but the battery life @ end of day seems like it uses less battery than my S5.
I'd say almost 50% more power compared to the 5 - 38mm

Hmm. Interesting. I posted the case sizes as I know there may be slight battery differences. S3 also has a old -rolled off the factory line since production battery.

I thought my initial observations was placebo (S5 eating more juice), but after using the S3 recently, it's defintely better. Go figure !

The Series 3 battery was almost 20% larger than Series 4. It came with largest battery of any series. Although the processor isn’t as efficient As the newer watches.

I vaguely recall watching a video where someone compared the battery life of every Apple Watch from S0 to S6 and SE and the S3 won out by a huge margin over all other models. For some reason it is the most efficient Apple Watch to date, possibly because of SoC efficiency improvements on the one hand without too many new battery-draining features to offset said efficiency gains on the other.

My 42mm S3 will easily last two full days and nights most of the time with only short (aka 10-15 minutes while in the shower) top-ups needed occasionally. I'll be very hesitant to upgrade to anything that won't last this long because I am already annoyed at having to charge yet another gadget this often. The convenience of not having to charge daily is well worth the discomfort of having to unpair and re-pair it on every major watchOS update.

My series 3 lasts longer than 6 too. Lack of sensors help. The S6 tries to be a bit of phone and in that confusion, loses charge a bit faster
