I have just purchased an AW S3, with LTE.
I have a question regarding messaging, why can the AW not send/receive messages when connected to LTE (phone out of range, still turned on) ?
Can make/receive calls, however not messages..?
I was under the impression I could (obviously I didn't do enough research) I just don't understand why you can do one, but not the other..?

Cheers.

Mine can send / receive messages, both SMS and iMessages without issue. This is how it is designed to work. It seesm that your watch might not be setup correctly on your cellular carrier. As long as your iPhone is online to your cellular network or available via Wi-Fi and has Wi-Fi Calling enabled SMS/MMS Txt messages can be forwarded to your watch.

What carrier do you have and were you able to self-setup or did you need an agent from your carrier to assist with the initial cellular setup?

Looks as thought I have fixed the problem.
Seems as though it is also a common problem, and was fixed by going into messages within the settings on my iPhone, and playing around with the “send&receive” setting
