Lately - I want to say after the most recent WatchOS update I’ve noticed in the morning when I go to take my watch off the charger it isn’t at 100%. First time I noticed it was at 99%. Now this morning it was at 94%. After a hard reset it went to 92%.

Other than this I still end the day around 75% battery life with normal activity. So I don’t know if it’s just a software bug or if I should have Apple replace my watch.

Has anyone experienced anything like this recent?

First, try a hard reset as you already did prior. Then try fully depleting the battery and then recharge it. It should be rebound to a full charge.

Also, make sure your watchOS is up-to-date.

Thanks for the tips. I’ll try depleting fully. Since I’ve bought this watch, it’s never really gone below 70%. My S0 watch never did this.. so out of the ordinary.

Over the last week or two my watch has charged up to 93% and stayed there. I’ve woken in the middle of the night to check it to see 93% and then when I wake up a couple/few hours later it’s still sitting at 93%. A reboot and placing it back on the charger in the morning gets it to complete charging but this is really strange.

This morning was different though, it was at 94% when I woke up. Usually the battery isn’t anywhere near depleted by the end of the day, and today isn’t a work day, so I’m going to let it go and see what happens.

I’ve seen that there’s a thread on Apples support site mentioning 93% recently, so I don’t think this is exactly an isolated issue.

I have seen other posts on here about the same thing. Make sure and file a bug report with Apple.
