I have this black mark on the corner of my Apple Watch. Trying to remove it with my fingernail did nothing, and I don’t even feel anything is there. I didn’t find anything about cleaning the ceramic watch. Is it chipped? Anyone have any suggestions to clear this up? Thank you.

oh wow so sorry to see this...

do u feel anything if you "scrape" your fingernail lightly over? if nothing then i guess it's a stain, and u can maybe try the normal stain removers or even baking soda? I don't think there's a coating on the white ceramic area so nothing to strip.. just be careful of the screen..

It’s difficult to tell from the picture if this is chipped or scuffed. You could try a ‘magic eraser’, see if that will remove the scuff. However, if you can feel any type of jagged edge with your finger nail, then it’s an abrasion into the ceramic casing.

Looks like a scuff. It’s black because, it may have picked up material of whatever it rubbed against.

Magic Eraser as already suggested. Even if it is scuffed, the Magic Eraser should take the black out making it much less noticeable. Worked wonders on scuffs and scratches on an older white motorcycle helmet and hard white Harley Davidson saddlebags.

Got the scuff out. Magic eraser didn’t work but cooktop cleaner did. Thanks all.

Awesome you got the scuff out but I’m shocked the magic eraser didn’t work. That stuff is amazing on scuffs but then again, never tried it on ceramic.
