S5 SS Space black vs S3/S4 SS space black color difference

so I picked up a S5 SS Space Black this week and absolutely love it! After owning a S3 and S4 SS silver the space black is a nice change.

Is it just me or is the S5 SSSB not as dark black as the S3/S4? The S5 SSSB looks almost metallic gray (which I prefer) and in the middle between silver and space gray.

Anyone else notice this?

Put it this way: during the change over of my strap from S4 to S5 I briefly turned away and when I turned back I panicked for a second that I couldn’t tell which was the new Watch on my table top...

It depends on the lighting but they should be the same black. The "black" sport band on the other hand definitely got a lighter shade this year which is not so bad, it's less all dark overkill imo.
