So upgrade from S4 to S7 - battery was truly shocking on my old watch.

Last night at bedtime, 100% charge as I took it off the charger. It was already in “Sleep” mode.

Woke up this morning and it had 81% battery left. That was 7hr 45min approx in bed according to sleep app.

Is that kind of drainage expected overnight? Just wanting to see if that’s the average.

I recently went from a S4 (non-cellular) to a S7 (cellular). I notice that the battery on the S7 is used up MUCH faster than the S4. With the S4, the battery would last a day and a half at least. I wore it 24/7 with the exception of popping it on the charger for a bit while I took a shower each morning. With the S7, the battery gets quite low once a day.

I've only used the cellular function on the S7 once for a few minutes, to try it out. So I know that's not the problem. My usage hasn't changed.

Does the always-on watch face function suck up a lot of battery??

I was just thinking this, this morning - I usually charge my watch first thing in the morning so it’s full for the day ahead and then all the way through the day and night and repeat

But last night I charged it up to 100% before bed and this morning it was at 83% and I was surprised myself how much it took up, but it looks like that’s relatively normal compared to some other people

-I Have a Series 7 non-cellular by the way-

I charge mine at night to 100% then go to sleep....I usually get about 7 hours and wake up to 92-95% battery (sleep tracking feature on)

The “Always On” feature uses 20% or more battery a day. People who say it hardly uses any battery are either not paying close attention, in denial, or just repeating what they have seen other members post.

I left my watch off the charger, no sleep tracking and it lost approximately 20%. Not sure why that much of drain. S7
