Saddle brown or Product red Apple leather case for iPhone X?

I can’t decide between Saddle brown or the Product red leather case for my iPhone X. I like how the brown forms that beautiful patina over time but the product red for the X catches my eye also. I like how it’s a shade darker red than the previous product red cases for the past iPhones. Looks like it will age nicely and form a nice deep, dark red.

Who has any of these cases and what do you think of them. Help me decide!

Being that the red is darker now it might age well. However in the past the Product RED cases look nasty after a few months. The saddle brown seem to always age well. I would love the Product Red if it actually does age well now that its darker. Didn't really help that much did I?

I have had the red, but I am not a fan of the 'patina' effect. Both these colors are susceptible to patina. They are both beautiful cases...when new...

Red doesn’t look good after a few months due to the “patina” discoloration and darkening. Saddle brown looks better over time with the patina. My wife returned her red for black.

I’m leaning towards saddle brown since I know it will age well. The new darker red for the X hasn’t been out long enough to see how it ages and if the darker red helps in that regard.

I’ll be at Apple store tomorrow so I need to choose. Who knows, I may throw a curveball and walk out of there with the cosmos blue. Another nice color that might age well with a nice dark blue. Hmmm

I got the red when I picked up my X yesterday. Think it looks great with the black screen but I'm not 100% on it yet. I think it would look much better with black buttons instead of the shiny red. Looking forward to seeing it wear.

Get both and switch them out from time to time.

I went with the dark grey. I like it so far, but then again its only been 4 days now. I hope it ages 1/2 as good as the brown.

Yeah, I rarely used the red silicone I had for my iPhone 7 Plus, but I’m really loving the red leather for my iPhone X, it’s not so bright, and it looks great without standing out.

It will age to a nearly black much like the midnight blue does. Many don’t like it for that reason but I love it because it turns into a deep complex hue vs the regular black.

I really like Saddle Brown and went to the store with the intent of buying that one. That said, the Space Grey phone clashed with it a bit in my eyes and I ended up leaving with Black. I don’t necessarily regret it as this case is great, but I love Saddle Brown after some use.

Brown will patina beautifully. My boyfriend had one on his 7 and it was wonderful. My red one on my 7 looks like crap. Red doesn't age nicely.

here's mine. dropped it inside my house on our brick fireplace. still fared well IMO. obviously saved the phone. i've dropped it a few other times on my tile at home but no damage. the bottom photo shows about a month of wear.
