Safari 10.2.2 toolbar keeps resetting to defaults

Curious to see if anyone else has this issue - on Sierra 10.2.2 (and I believe before) on both my real 2015 MacBook Pro and my Hackintosh, Safari regularly resets the tool bar. Every few days I have to manually customize it and redraw the iCloud tabs icon back into the toolbar as it's one of my most used features (I open a bunch of tabs on my phone and using the iCloud button on the Safari toolbar is the fastest way to open them all on my Mac for mass bookmarking).

Anyone else have this issue? I've tried deleting the usual preference .plist files, but no luck.
