Safari 2.0 "Resets" Itself...

Has anyone else had Safari 2 "reset" iself - i.e., somehow trashes its preference file, and when you launch it it seems as if you are launching it for the first time. It's happened intermittently, and I've kind of lost track of the Tiger bug forum to see if this is common. The only plug-in I am using is Saft 8.2.

OS X 10.4.1, PowerBook G4 1.67, 2 Gb RAM, 100 Gb HD.
