Ok,

Is it just me, or does Safari 3 use the built-in dictionary now? A friends MacBook doesn't, however - She is on Safari 2.0. How do I get to turn that on in Safari 2.0?

A neat by-product of this is that you can use command+ctrl+d while hovering over a word to bring up a pop dictionary.

That's possible in Safari 2, too. Are you wanting spell check? If so, then press CONTROL and click in a text box, then select Check Spelling As You Type from the Spelling menu. Is this what you're referring to? :)
