Can anyone explain while even the beta, which will surely be the final it seems, still doesn't allow me to use google chat. I mean this is a major deal-breaker, I love the new Safari, but come on, this is a useful app that safari isn't allowing users to access.

I'd say there will be an update coming on Friday or next week. The Safari 3 beta gives me the beachball quite a lot and can be very slow.
