With the final release of Safari 3, if I click on a folder of bookmarks on the bookmarks bar, the (20 or so) icons show as generic blue icons for a brief but noticeable moment, then the normal site specific icons appear. This didn't happen with the beta, or previous versions. I noticed it also happened in Leopard (before I went back to Tiger for various reasons).
It only happens once per session, but it's annoying. The icons are being re-drawn every time Safari launches and the whole drop down menu seems to jump as the icons load. To my thinking, this defeats the purpose of caching them for instant retrieval.
It's happening on both my Powerbook 12" and my G5 Quad. Anyone else experiencing this and/or bugged by it?
