Command-F now brings up a finder bar at the top of the page (below the bookmarks bar, right above the page itself), and highlights each instance of the word in the page, with the selected hit highlighted in orange. See:

Unfortunately, unlike Camino, search doesn't start by just typing on a page. I also wish that the 'Hide Find Banner' key combo was+F, not
+Shift+F.

Escape doesn't work when you've done something after the search, even just tab through to see the results...Just pressing escape works fine for me.
