I just got a new MBP 15" this week and had a ton of software updates one being up to 4.0.3 on safari, and I'm getting alot of pinwheels while surfing the net, even just trying to scroll a page, CPU is at 1% and Memory like 50% so I don't understand and was wondering if anyone else was having troubles with the new safari. My e08 MB was only running 4.0.2 or lower and didn't have any problems and this MBP is way ahead in performance so was hoping it was safari. Thanks!

You can try doing Empty Cache and see if it helps.

Some people have suggested deleting ~/Library/PubSub/Database/Database.sqlite3 as well. I don't know what that file does; I think it has something to do with RSS feeds. Mine is full of web page text.
