Safari 4.0 vs 4.02

So I've been running 4.0 on Tiger for awhile now. Wanted to move to 4.02 but it was only available for Leopard until just a few days ago. Now available for Tiger, so I just downloaded it.

Wow. A LOT snappier. Loads pages a bunch quicker. I'm not talking about a small increase here. It's a lot quicker. I really wasn't expecting this.

Maybe it's just the Tiger build on this, as I haven't seen any reports from Leopard users mentioning this speed increase, but it sure is a pleasant surprise.

It's faster on my Leopard machine, too. Then again, vanilla 4 was slow as molasses for me (what happened between beta and RTM?).
