I noticed this first with 4.0, but the problem may have been there for a while before that. Whenever I try to move a tab from one window to another existing window Safari gives the beachball and quits on me 100% of the time. I am getting very tired of this. Has anybody else noticed this?

I downloaded Safari 4.0.2 (Leo) direct from Apple just in case the software update didn't work right, but I still get the same problem after installing.

Do you have SafariStand installed? If so this is most likely causing the crash. I have the same problem and it only goes away when I remove SafariStand.

No, everything is standard, no plugins. This happens both at work and at home, both bone stock.
