Safari 4.01 problem

Safari 4.01 keeps on hanging,not crashing as such but wait for ages and may or may not come to life after that,reported the bug several times to Apple.
any idea

I experience the same behavior from time to time with Safari 4.x. It is not consistent and I haven't been able to figure out the root cause. I'm wondering if it is related to web page caching in some way.

I've also seen beach-balls in Safari 4 that never happened in 3.
