I was wondering if Safari 4 beta still messed up Messenger for Mac (MS version). I didnt want to install it since last time i had to get rid of everything from both programs and had to reinstall it:(.

Yep. Still an issue. As stated in other threads, it's actually an issue with Messenger. Oh well

Thought it was a bug in WebKit which got fixed, but Apple haven't adopted the updated WebKit in the latest Safari 4 build..?

right... well thats annoying as i quite like both programs. well who evers fault it is, i am pretty sure it will be fixed once the final version of 4 is released

Could be both, really. I just fixed a bug in Adium that the WebKit team reported to us, but they also put a workaround for it in WebKit for older versions of Adium to use.

Downgrade to Safari 3 and MSN runs perfectly - Problem Solved

(Apple actually still says that Safari 4 isn't completely ready for public release and they suggest using Safari 3)

Keep Safari 4 and use Adium - Problem Solved
