Well, since this hasn't been implemented in any version of Safari ever, I'd say that you're better off with IE5, as that's the last browser that I remember being capable of such a weird feat.
Unless FireFox can. I don't know; I've never used it.
I asked about this earlier. Firefox does this and I have been hunting for a solution here. I just cannot imagine not having my bookmarks in a sidebar!!!

Unless I don't understand the plug-in, it does not do this for bookmarks. It does have a sidebar for open pages with nice little images. But the Bookmarks thing seems to be disabled for 4.0. Anyone else note this?
