I just upgraded to Safari 4 and am already unhappy with the new UI. I hate having the tabs on top, I am used to double clicking to open a new tab and now it closes the whole browser! And now the address bar doesn't progress blue, respectively with the progress of the loading page! I have already made multiple double posts here and on other forums because I click the submit button and no blue appears for 5 seconds, then I click it again and again until I realize after about three clicks that there is a small circle going around and around at the very end of the address bar!

I admit, I am a total fanboy and like everything that has the logo on it, at least I thought I did. I am not trying to be one of the people that comes and bashes the product or something but I have a real problem:

Whenever I am on any site that I have to log into, i.e. MR Forums, Proboards, Facebook, Apple Discussions, MySpace, etc. I end up getting logged out at random times. I know my session has not expired! It is extremely annoying and frustrating when I have written a big, long post, like this one, and when I click Submit, it gives me a message that I have to be logged in to do that. I then have just lost everything I have written. Now, I copy all my text before I submit anything. I understand this is a Beta release. Is there any way for me to go back, at least for now, to Safari 3.x? Then when the final release comes out, hopefully this will be fixed and I can learn the new UI. The reason I am posting this is because I think I may have something wrong. If you are experiencing the same problem please let me know, so I know that it's not just me. Or if you have a temporary solution or fix, please let me know!

I have searched here and on Google for quite a while. If you find something, please direct me to it and I apologize for wasting anybodies time. BTW, this started RIGHT after I upgraded to Safari 4 Beta, I know that there was a security update, or something like that, and I was wondering if that could be the culprit. I was thinking that it was a problem with the acceptance of cookies so I set Safari to accept them "Always", not just "Only from sites I've visited". This has seemed to fix the problem for the 30 minutes I've had it set.

Thank you,
David
