I like Safari 4-beta. Top Sites is cool. My complaint is that they need to let you put a button for Top Sites and Bookmarks in the main toolbar (under: View > Customize Toolbar). Why restrict these buttons to the bookmarks toolbar?

I don't use the bookmarks toolbar to save vertical viewing space. But then I can't access these two buttons.

I made my home button go to topsites, but even that was hard to figure out how to do. (Put "topsites://" into the URL for the homepage under Preferences.) They should make this easier to do, and just go ahead and let us put these two buttons where we want them.

Does anyone know of a Safari Plug-in that would give you more control over button placement? This seems like such a simple thing. I haven't found any through some searching...

I've submitted this as a request through the "Bug" button on Safari. If you think it's a good idea, please join me! (Is there a better way to submit such a feature request?)
