Hello, first time post, long time lurker.

I got home today from university to download a .pdf for a project I need and found out that Safari is not downloading any files. I can go to any site and click to download and nothing happens. Nothing shows up in the download icon in the dock or any popup with Safari. I'd wish to download another browser to try and download with that, but I am unable to as I can't download anything. I check to see if it downloads correctly to the "Downloads" folder, and it's set properly. Also, no download status pop up comes up either.

Thanks in advance.
