I've always suspected, looking at the logs, that Flash causes 99% of my Safari crashes. (I get about one a week of heavy use--not bad, but not good.)
This time, since I'm on Safari 4, there was a new message pointing the finger at Adobe: the crash "may have been caused by the Flash Player plugin." Useful to have my suspicion confirmed: it was a Flash banner ad on CNN.com
I assume ANY crashed plugin would generate a similar custom message. But I suspect soon we'll all be coming to appreciate even more just how buggy Flash is on Mac. (And why we don't want it on iPhone unless it can be done right.)
(I'm really hoping Safari starts to use a separate process per tab, like Chrome does. One tab would not crash others, and one tab would not beachball others either!)
