It's still crashing as much as it did during the beta-period. What's this "crash resistance" they're talking about?

And why can't we have a site independent crash per tab like in Google's Chrome?

i believe that was for when it is in snow leopard

As waterskier2007 said, that's a feature of safari 4 in snow leopard. It also specifically applies to plugin-related (i.e. Flash, 99% of the time) crashes only.

To be fair, that is the #1 cause of Safari crashes. Fixing your #1 crasher is significant enough to call it "crash resistance" in my book :)

thats just lame, I have yet to see any crash resist app, including OS itself.

Why apple marketing kepts inventing or redefining ridiculous terms? They think people in this world all are tards?

I was wondering the same. Crashing Safari is getting old. I never had any crashes in v3, now it's constantly crashing :(

anybody know if there is a way to revert back to 3?

Yeah, the plugin sandboxing is only in Snow Leopard. That said, I can't think of a single time Safari 4 has crashed on me, and it's all I've been using for a few months.

I totally agree!! Mine crashes on the new york times page like 3 times a day.

Do you think water resistant coats are waterproof? (hint, they're not)

Safari 4 is the only browser I use and I'm all over the web. Not a single crash with it. Maybe I'm just lucky?

I'm with you, the beta performed flawlessly for me, and Safari 4 (so far) has behaved perfectly as well. To those of you experiencing crashes, are you on Windows or using like a thousand tabs or what?
