Safari 5.0 has crashed almost every 10 minutes on me - depends what I'm doing, but it'll just beachball then "Unexpectedly Quit".

Let's see if this will improve stability.

Usually when mine crashes it's flash-related, but recently it's crashed a bit too when dealing with javascript-heavy websites.

Webkit2 couldn't come any sooner for me.

This is great; I've been wary of installing unofficial 3rd party extensions. I'm glad to see the Gallery officially launched.

My concern, though, is the fact that it seems like every extension comes with its own toolbar. For example, I'd love to use the Twitter extension, but it doesn't do me much good if it keeps a toolbar up at the top.

This isn't IE 4; I don't need a toolbar for everything; I'd much prefer a sidebar that's brought up w/ a keyboard shortcut. Maybe in the near future...

I agree, toolbars suck so I stay away from them.. you can hide them via the view menu though.

Wow this is so much better than 5.0. I just installed it and it feels much quicker
and there is no crashing at all.

Awesome screenshot is great for taking screen shots and adding notes, blurring etc i like this alot!!

Installed 5.0.1 and now Google Maps street view is painfully slow. Beachballs abound. Checked Firefox and no problems, so it's not my connection. Anyone else?

Hmm, after waiting this long, I was kind of expecting a better selection. I certainly hope the offerings improve over the next month or so, or else Safari doesn't stand a chance against Firefox. Speaking of which, I'm interested to see what Firefox 4 will bring to the table. It'd be nice if it had a similar reader function...
