Anyone else getting this?

When I click in a link that opens in a new window, it opens without the toolbar/address bar... so I have to go to menu>view>show toolbar to enable it manually....

I've searched in the Preferences and other menus, and in other forums and help sites, but nothing... any ideas on hoy to fix this awkward behavior?

thanks

Is it happening with every link? Or could it be, that those windows are designed to have no toolbar?

Have you reset Safari yet or tried another browser?

In every link... yahoo mail, macrumors... every single link I open in a new window browser, it opens without a toolbar. This didn't happen in previous versions of Safari, nor it happens in Firefox or Camino.

I have already tried resetting it via the "Reset Safari..." menu option, but it didn't fix it.

Try this.
  • Quit Safari if it's running.
  • Start Safari. Go to View> Hide Toolbar. Quit Safari.
  • Start Safari. Go to View> Show Toolbar. Quit Safari.
  • Start Safari. Surf the net and see if it fixes the problem.
