Safari 6.0 tab quirk

I installed Safari 6.0 on my Mini and my MBA. When I have only 1 tab open, the tab "bar" (the tab itself) rolls up into the title bar on my Mini (like it did on the previous version). However, on my Mini, it stays open as one giant (annoying) tab. Anyone seen this? The preferences are set the same on both machines. Is there something I've overlooked?

D'oh, so simple! Thanks. I don't know how that got turned on but you solved my issue. BTW, how dumb is it to have the tab bar showing when there is only one tab? Why even have this option?

Uniformity. To not have everything move down when you open another tab, to make room for a new tab bar.

Exactly. I leave it shown. But I did prefer the smaller tabs.
